Craniosynostosis is a relatively common condition in which the sutures between the bony plates in the head close too early. It affects around 1 in 2100 children in France (Arnaud et al., 2006; Renier et al., 2006). Craniosynostosis affecting the anterior sutures can not only lead to repercussions in the brain, but also may have an esthetic impact due to deformation of the orbito-naso-frontal bandeau (ONFB).
