Radiative proton-deuteron capture in a gauge invariant relativistic model

A relativistic model is developed for the description of the process p+d<-->He-3+gamma*. It is based on the impulse approximation, but is explicitly gauge invariant and Lorentz covariant. The model is applied to radiative proton-deuteron capture and electrodisintegration of He-3 nt intermediate energies, Results for cross sections and vector and tensor analyzing powers are presented.
