Natural materials combine orderly hierarchical architectures with abundant interface interactions. To learn from nature, various building blocks are used to build bioinspired nanocomposites with the design of interface interactions. The resulting nanocomposites possess extraordinary mechanical properties, as well as other functions, which are promising in various fields.
