Abstract

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is the most common progressive form of hair loss that occurs in more than half of men above 50 years ¹. AGA onset is dependent on genetic predisposition and presence of androgen ^{2, 3}. In AGA patients, hair undergoes shortened anagen phase, progressive miniaturization and subsequent vellus transformation of terminal hair follicle.
