Dermatology Training Across the Globe, Part II: A summary of the literature

Abstract

In the United States (U.S.), dermatology training program rankings often stem from assessments by practicing physicians or evaluations of scholarly achievements such as grants and publicatons.¹ To the best of our knowledge, similar ranking systems outside of the U.S. do not exist. In fact, outside of the U.S., dermatology departments are assessed in alternative ways such as utilization of inpatient bed capacity, research funding, and metrics of patient care.
