In vitro activity of Omadacycline against Chlamydia pneumoniae [Susceptibility]

The in vitro activity of omadacycline, azithromycin, doxycycline, moxifloxacin and levofloxacin, was tested against 15 isolates of Chlamydia pneumoniae. The minimum inhibitory concentrations at which 90% of the isolates of C. pneumoniae were inhibited (MIC₉₀) by omadacycline were 0.25 μg/ml (range 0.03-0.5 μg/ml).
