Why skin is so important for Baha Attract success: A preliminary analysis of the first twenty implantations

Abstract

We propose a classification for skin and soft tissue evolution with Baha^® Attract.

We share our strategy adapted to treat the different soft tissue problems.

We share recommendations that surgeons and audiologists must provided to the patients.

The education, information, and follow‐up should be given and repeated very carefully during the first year of fitting to avoid any skin and soft tissues issues.

The soft tissue issues are unusual but can be potentially serious.
