COPD patients are prone to develop bronchospasm and risk going to be increased after major surgery like CABG.Mgso4 as an adjunct has a pivotal role in the management of bronchospasm, improving PEFR and stabilising other respiratory parameters along with cardiac stability. This study shows improvement in respiratory parameters and so improve patients outcome and also hospital stay.
